Pescennius Niger, 193-194. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 2.66 g, 6 h), Antiochia. IMP CAES C PESCE NIGER IVST [A] Laureate head of Pescennius Niger to right. Rev. MINER VICTRIS (sic!) Minerva standing front, head to left, holding shield in her right hand and spear in her left. BMC 609 note = Cohen 54 = RIC 61. CNG 40 (1996), 1559 (same dies). Lightly toned and with an extremely rare reverse type. Good very fine.
